Directions
RND 1: Chain 16 (18), join without twisting to make a loop.
Round 1: DC in each stitch around, join to top of 1st DC with a slip stitch.
*You can skip the first two steps and do 16 (19) Foundation Double Crochet if you prefer.
RND 2: Chain 2, FPDC around 1st stitch, BPDC around 2nd stitch, continue alternating FPDC and BPDC around, join to top of 1st stitch with a slip stitch.
Rounds 3-4 (3-5): Repeat round 2.
RND 5: Chain 2, DC in each stitch around, join to the top of the 1st stitch with a slip stitch.
Rounds 6-7 (6-8): Chain 2, DC in each stitch around, join to the top of the 1st stitch with a slip stitch.
RND 8: Ch 2, DC in 1st stitch, chain 2, skip next 2 stitches. This will create the thumb hole, DC in the following stitch and in each stitch around, join to the top of the 1st stitch with a slip stitch.
Round 9 (10): Ch 2, DC in 1st stitch, DC in each chain of thumbhole, DC in each stitch around, join to the top of the 1st stitch with a slip stitch.
RND 10: Ch 2, DC in each stitch around, join to top of 1st stitch with a slip stitch, finish off and weave in ends.
