Crochet Instructions

RND 1: Cushion Cover x 2 (Back & Front Alike) - Made in rounds without turning throughout. With 4.00mm hook and main color yarn, ch6, ss to first chtomakearing, (RS) ch3, work 13dc in ring, sl st to top of ch3. (13dc + ch3)

Round 2: ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 2dc in each dc to end, sl st to top of ch3. (27dc + ch3)

Round 3: Working in back loop only, ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in next dc, *2dc in next dc, 1dc in next dc,* rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3. (41dc + ch3)

Round 4: Working through both loops, ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in each of next 2dc, *2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 2dc,* rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3. (55dc + ch3)

Round 5: Work through back loop of stitch only, ch3, 1dc in base of ch3, 1dc in each of next 3dc, *2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 3dc,* rpt from * to * to end, sl st to top of ch3. (69dc + ch3)

Return to first round of loose loops you made at centre of cover, join in contrast color one, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, (ch3, 1sc) in base of ch1, *skip 1dc, (1sc, ch3, 1sc) in next dc,* rpt from * to * to last dc, skip last dc, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Rpt last round by alternate contrast colors in each round of loose loops. Fasten off.

Place both right sides of pieces together, lining up seams of both sides, with WS facing, starting at seams, catching in both sides as you work ch1, 1 sl st in each of next 133dc, you will have 49dc un-worked (this is the opening for cushion pad). Turn.

Next Row: ch1, 1sc in each of next 49dc on first piece, 1sc in each of next 49dc on second piece, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Finishing Touches

Sew in and tie off loose ends, turn through to RS, sew 3 medium size main color buttons evenly along the opening on the inside of one of the open pieces, use gaps in dc’s on opposite piece as buttonholes.
