Directions
Begin by creating the flower:
- Ch 5 and join with a sl st to form a ring.
- Ch 1 and work 10 sc in the ring just formed. Fasten off.
- With the other color, attach yarn with a sl st into any sc. Ch 5, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, hdc in the next 3 ch, and sl st in the same st as joining. (First petal formed)
- * Sl st into the next st, ch 5, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, hdc in the next 3 ch, and sl st back into the same st that you started the petal in.* Sl st in the first sc and fasten off.
Creating the Stem
- Ch 10, hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each remaining ch. Fasten off.
- Attach green yarn in the 5th hdc and ch 6. Sc in the 2nd ch, hdc in the 3rd ch, dc in the next 2 ch, sl st into the side of the stem, and fasten off.
- Sew the stem to the back of the flower.
