Gauge

With H-hook – 4dc = 1".

Joining with SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

Flower Instructions

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with White, ch6; join with slst to first ch to form ring, ch3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), dc in ring, ch3, [2dc in ring, ch3] 5 times; join with slst to first dc (3rd ch of ch-5). (12dc & 6ch-3lps)

Rnd 2: Slst in sp between next 2 dc, *(2hdc, 3dc, 3hdc) in next ch-3sp, slst in sp between next 2 dc; rep from * around. (6 petals) Finish off and weave in ends.

Edging

Rnd 1: With right side facing, join Fuschia with slst to first hdc on any petal, [ch3, slst in next st] 6 times, slst in same sp between dc-sts on Flower Rnd 1, *[ch3, slst in next st] 7 times, slst in same sp between dc-sts on Flower Rnd 1; rep from * around, ch3, join with slst to first slst. Finish off and weave in ends.

Center Instructions

Rnd 1: (Right Side) With Fuschia, ch2, 8sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with slst to first sc. Finish off leaving long end.

Using long end and yarn needle, with right sides facing, sew Center to Flower.
