Hook: H/5.0mm

Yarn: Sugar N Cream Cotton - Orange: 1.6oz & Green

Optional: Facial features, if using this as a hot pad and not a decoration, use something that will not melt.

Ch4, 11dc in 4th ch from hook, join.. (12dc)

Round 2

Ch3, fpdc in same st. (Dc, fpdc) in each st around, join. (24dc)

Round 3

Ch3, dc in same st, 2dc in each st around, join. (48dc)

Round 4

Ch3, dc in same st. [Dc in 3sts, 2dc in next st] Repeat around, ending w/dc in last 3sts, join. (60dc)

Round 5

Ch3, dc in same st. [Dc in 4sts, 2dc in next st] Repeat around, ending w/dc in last 4sts, join. Fasten off, weave in ends. (72dc)

Front Instructions

Rounds 1-5

Repeat same as back, DO NOT fasten off at end of rnd 5.

Place wrong sides of both pieces together, with right side of front circle facing you, work through both pieces.

Ch3, dc in same st. (Dc in next st, 2dc in next st) 5x, dc in 4sts, slst in 4sts, dc in 4sts, (2dc in next st, dc in next st) 12x, 2dc in next st. Hdc in 3sts, sc in 4sts, hdc in 3sts, (2dc in next st, dc in next st) 7x, join & fasten off, weave in ends. (84dc, 6hdc, 4sc)

Will be worked behind slsts at top. Do not work in the actual slsts.
