Required Materials
We'll need:
- 3 mm crochet hook
- Stuffing
- Tapestry needle
- 6 mm safety eyes
- Dk yarn in light pink, dark pink, a little green, lilac, and some black embroidery floss.
The finished doll is going to measure approximately 6.5 cm / 2.5 inches.

Body
With light pink yarn, follow these instructions:
Eye A:
- R1: 5 sc in mr
- R2: *sc inc* [10]
Cut the yarn leaving a short tail.
Eye B:
Repeat Eye A but don't cut yarn, continue to join.
Joining:
We'll join the two eyes now.
- R3: 5 sc on Eye B, 2 ch, 1 sc on first st of Eye A, 9 sc (on Eye A), 2 sc (on ch), 5 sc (on Eye B) [24]
Rest of Body:
- R4-8: 24 sc [24]
- R9: *3 sc, sc inc* [30]
Place the eyes between R3-4.
- R10-11: 30 sc [30]
- R12: *3 sc, sc dec* [24]
- R13: *2 sc, sc dec* [18]
- R14: *1 sc, sc dec* [12]
- R15: *sc dec* [6]
Close the body. With dark pink, make a V between R4-6 for the cheeks.
With black embroidery floss, make a little mouth between R6-8.
Stem
With green yarn, follow these instructions:
- 5 ch
- R1: 4 sl st
Break yarn.
Flower
With lilac yarn, follow these instructions:
- 5 ch
- R1: start on 3rd ch from hook, 1 dc, 2 ch, sl st in same ch as last dc, sl st on next ch, (2 ch, 1 dc, 2 ch, sl st in same ch as last dc, sl st on next ch) x2
Cut the yarn leaving a tail to sew. We'll wrap the flower around the top of the stem (the chain side to the stem) and secure it in place.
Arms
With light pink yarn, make two:
- 4 ch
- R1: 3 sc [3]
Break yarn leaving enough for sewing. Using the eyes as a guide, the arms should be placed about that far apart. Attach the arm that's going to hold the flower horizontally between R10-13, and attach the flower with this arm.
Sew the other arm between R9-12 but a bit diagonally.
Wings
With dark pink yarn, make two and leave a long tail at the beginning:
- 7 ch
- R1: 6 sc
- R2-3: 1 ch, turn, 6 sc
- R4: 1 ch, turn, 3 sc
- R5-6: 1 ch, turn, 3 sc
Break yarn, secure and hide this end. Place the point (the start) of the wings on the back of the frog between R8-9, and secure them in place.
