Instructions for Hat

With Colour A, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) 6 sc in magic loop. [6 sc]

Round 2 2 sc in each sc around. [12 sc]

Round 3 (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc) 6 times. [18 sc]

Round 4 1 sc in each st around. [18 sc]

Round 5 (2 sc in next sc, 2 sc) 6 times. [24 sc]

Round 6 (2 sc in next sc, 3 sc) 6 times. [30 sc]

Round 7 (2 sc in next sc, 4 sc) 6 times. [36 sc]

Rounds 8-9 1 sc in each st around. [36 sc]

If you have a very large egg, you can stop here and omit the next row.

Round 10 (4 sc, sc2tog) 6 times, ss into next stitch, cut yarn and fasten off. [30 sc]

Instructions for Ears (Make 2)

Row 1 (RS) With Colour B, ch 9, turn work. [9 sts]

Row 2 (WS) 1 ss, 3 sc, 4 ss, cut yarn. [9 sts]

Row 3 (WS) With Colour A, join with a ss in the first stitch of Row 1, 1 sc in same stitch, 3 sc, 3 hdc, 2 hdc in 1 stitch (cross over to other side of ear), 2 hdc in 1 stitch, 3 hdc, 4 sc, cut yarn (leave a 15cm tail for fastening). [18 sc]

Assembly Instructions
