You’ll Need:
300g of thin woolen yarn;
Knitting needles size 3;
Crochet hook size 2.5;
4 buttons.
Chest Circumference:
90 cm.
Instructions
Front and Back
Cast on 230 sts and make 2 rows of stockinette stitch. Then work in the following way: the first 4 edging sts with 1 x 1 rib, the central 222 sts according to the scheme. Divide your work into 2 halves of front (72 sts each) and back (96 sts). Bind off the sts of front or transfer them to the auxiliary needle; knit only the back. For the arm-hole, decrease 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 3 sts, and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row. Decrease 1 x 7 sts and 1 x 9 sts in every 2nd row along the shoulder line.
Sleeves
Cast on 78 sts for each sleeve and make 2 rows of stockinette stitch. Then, work according to the scheme. For the arm-hole, decrease 1 x 5 sts along the edges of sleeves. Knit the part of sleeve that should be sewn to the front straight, and decrease 17 x 1 st in every 2nd row for the half of sleeve that should be sewn to the back. Then, knit straight for 6 cm.
Make the second sleeve in symmetry to the first.
Assembly
Sew all the details together. Cast on all the sts along the neck-hole line and make 4 rows of knit sts. Sew 4 buttons and make button-holes on the opposite side.
