You’ll Need:

400 (450) 500g of mélange silver Merino Mix yarn (51% merino wool, 49% polyacryl; 100m/50g);

Knitting needles 4 and 5;

3 buttons.

Knitting needles 4;

Main Pattern 1

Knitting needles 5: due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows according to the pattern, yarn overs – as purls.

Repeat 1st-22nd rows.

Main Pattern 2

Knitting needles 5: 2 purls, 2 knit sts by turn;

Special Decreases

From the right side: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, slip 1 knit st, 1 knit st, knit2tog, draw it through the slipped st, then, work with the main pattern;

From the left side: knit2tog or knit3tog, 1 knit st, 1 selvage st.

Stitches Control

Main pattern 1: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 86 (94) 102 sts and make 4 cm of rib. Then, work with the main pattern 2 in the following way: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, 2 purls, 2 knit sts. In 30 cm from the set-up row, decrease 4 (5) 6 x 2 sts and 24 (26) 28 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides with raglan chamfers using special decreases. In 50 (52) 54 cm from the set-up row, bind off the rest 22 sts.

Left Front

Cast on 29 (33) 37 sts and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, * 2 purls, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to * x 4 (5) 6 times, 2 purls, 2 knit sts, 2 purls, 1 selvage st. For smooth rounding, increase 2 x 2 sts, 8 x 1 st in every 2nd row from the left side and 2 x 1 st in every 4th row, include the increased sts in the main pattern 1, then, make 2 purls, 3 knit sts, 1 selvage st. In 30 cm from the set-up row, decrease 4 (5) 6 x 2 sts and 19 (21) 23 x 1 st in every 2nd row from the right side for raglan chamfer with special decreases. In 41 (43) 45 cm from the set-up row, bind off 7 sts from the left side for neck-hole and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 6 sts in every 2nd row. Total height is 47 (49) 51 cm.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Right Sleeve

Cast on 62 (66) 70 sts and make 4 cm of rib. Then, work with the main patterns 1 and 2, increase 1 st in the 1st row = 63 (67) 71 sts. Work as follows: for size S: 1 selvage st, 2 knit sts, 2 purls, 2 knit sts, 2 purls, 13 sts of the main pattern 1, 3 purls, 13 sts of the main pattern 1, 3 purls, 13 sts of the main pattern 1, 2 purls, 2 knit sts, 2 purls, 2 knit sts, 1 selvage st; for size M: make 2 knit sts from both sides of the selvage st; for size L: make 2 knit sts, 2 purls from both sides of the selvage st. In 30 (28) 26 cm from the set-up row, decrease 5 (6) 7 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 9 (10) 11 x 1 st in every 4th row from both the right side with special decreases for raglan chamfers. In 47 cm from the set-up row, bind off 20 sts from the right side and 3 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts in every 2nd row. Simultaneously with the beginning of the raglan changes, decrease 5 (6) 7 x 1 st in every 2nd row from the left side and 11 (12) 13 x 1 st in every 4th row with special decreases. Total height is 50 cm.

Left Sleeve

Make in symmetry to the right sleeve.

Assembly

Make side seams. Sew up the sleeves. Raglan seams start 2 rows lower than the 1st place of decreases. For front plackets, cast on 117 (127) 137 sts along the lower edge, rounding and edge of the front and work with rib. At 2 cm height of the right placket, make 2 button-holes. For neck-hole plackets, cast on 120 sts along the neck-hole and upper short sides of plackets and work with rib. Sew buttons. Sew the lower ends of the plackets to the back rib.
