​Simple Hat with Pom Pom

You’ll need:

100g of pink Novita Samos yarn (50% cotton, 50% acryl; 90m/50g);

Double-pointed knitting needles 4,5.

Head circumference: 48 cm.

Stitches control: 18 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 92 sts and divide them on 4 knitting needles. Make 4 cm of rib around. Then, knit due to the scheme, start from the 1^st row A-C sections (totally, 4 times).

At first, make 1^st-22^nd rows, then, repeat 3^rd-22^nd rows. At 17 cm length, start decreasing sts, continue making cables during 3 decreases.

1^st row of decreases: purl2tog from both sides of cables, 16 sts are already bound off, there are 76 sts left;

2^nd row of decreases: purl2tog from both sides of cables, 16 sts are already bound off, there are 60 sts left;

3^rd row of decreases: make purls with neighboring knit st from both sides of cable = 44 sts;

4^th row of decreases: knit2tog = 22 sts. Make 1 RSrow;

5^throwofdecreases: knit2tog = 11 sts. Cut the yarn and fasten it.

Make pom pom and sew it to the hat.
