Instructions

Start with the left bootie. For this, cast on 50 (58, 66) sts and knit 3 rows of knit sts (garter stitch).

Row Instructions

1st row: 1 knit st, * 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to * to last st, 1 knit st = 74 (86, 98) sts;

2nd row: 1 knit st, * 1 purl, 1 yarn over, knit2tog*; repeat from * to * to last st. Repeat the last row 2 (4, 4) times.

Sole Instructions

Cast on 8 sts and make 4 rows with knit sts. Then, add 1 st (knitting through back and front loops) from both sides = 10 sts.

4 (6, 8) rows - garter stitch.

Next row: add 1 st from both sides, as previously made = 12 sts.

4 rows with garter stitch, then decrease 1 st from both sides in each row x 3 times = 6 sts, bind off all the sts. Make heel seam, sew the sole and buttons.
