How to Crochet a Colourful Hat

You'll Need:

150g of UNIE 20 CORA yarn or LINIE 55 MONTEGO of different colours;

Crochet hook 7;

Colourful pom pom.

Head Circumference

50 cm

You can choose any order of colours you like. Single crochets are made in circle rows. Finish the row with 1 slip stitch of the next colour. Double stitches: 2 single crochets in 1 base stitch of the previous circle row.

Stitches Control

12 stitches and 14 circle rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

1st Circle Row: Make a ring of 6 single crochets;

2nd Circle Row: Double each stitch = 12 stitches;

3rd Circle Row: By means of the previous stitch, double every 2nd stitch 6 times = 18 stitches;

4th Circle Row: Double every 3rd stitch 6 times = 24 stitches;

5th Circle Row: Double every 4th stitch 6 times = 30 stitches;

6th Circle Row: Double every 5th stitch 6 times = 36 stitches;

7th Circle Row: Double every 6th stitch 6 times = 42 stitches;

8th Circle Row: Double every 7th stitch 6 times = 48 stitches;

9th Circle Row: Crochet without increases;

10th Circle Row: Double every 8th stitch 6 times = 54 stitches;

11th Circle Row: Crochet without increases;

12th Circle Row: Double every 9th stitch 6 times = 60 stitches.

On these 60 stitches, crochet 16-18 circle rows more without increases.

Make a pom pom from the rest of yarn and sew it.
