How to Knit a Cozy Lap Blanket in Purple Melange

You’ll Need:

400g of Stenli Etho in Purple Melange color;
100g of Stenli Rosi in Silver Grey color;

Knitting needles 5.5 mm and 6 mm;

Crochet hooks 5.5 and 6 mm.

Size:

84 x 64 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 106 stitches in Etno.
Each row - work 1 knit stitch at each end, then work rest of the row in blackberry stitch.
Work to 30 inches (84 cm) or desired length.

Edging for Lap Blanket

Using 6 mm crochet hook, at one corner insert the hook, work 3 chains, skip 3 stitches on lap blanket edge, insert crochet hook, work 1 double crochet, work 3 chains, skip 3 stitches and repeat.
Work edging in this way 3 times around the lap blanket.
Darn in all ends.
