How to Knit a Stunning Circle Shawl

Materials Needed

You'll need:

• 300g of yarn (60% wool, 20% silk, 15% linen; 498m/100g);
• Circle knitting needles 4.5 (80 and 150 cm long);
• Double pointed knitting needles 4.5;
• Crochet hook;
• Markers;
• Needle with big eye.

• 1st row: purls;
• 2nd row: 1 knit st, 1 yarn over - on all the sts of the row;
• 3rd row: purls.

Instructions

Start your work in the center of the ring.

Cast on 6 sts with circle cast on.

Place marker in the beginning of circle row.

1st row: (2 sts out of 1: through upper and lower loops) x 6 times. You should get 12 sts;

2nd row: knit;

3rd row: (2 sts out of 1 st) x 12 times = 24 sts;

4th row: purls;

5th row: (knit2tog with left decline, 1 yarn over) x 12 times;

6th row: knit.

Make increases, as it's described above = 48 sts.

Repeat pattern pic. A = 8 rows.

Make increases, as it's described above = 96 sts.

Repeat pattern pic. B = 16 rows.

Make increases, as it's described above = 192 sts.

Turn to knitting needle with fishing line 80 cm long.

Make 1st-12th rows of pattern repeat pic. C x 3 times, then 1st and 2nd rows of this pattern x once = 38 rows.

Make increases, as it's described above = 384 sts.

Make 1st-18th rows of pattern repeat pic. D x 3 times, then 1st and 2nd rows of this pattern x once = 56 rows.

Make increases, as it's described above = 768 sts.

After that, 1st-12th rows of pattern repeat pic. E, then 1st-5th rows of this pattern = 17 rows.

Make 1 circle row with purls.

Then, pic. F x 7 times.

Bind off the sts loosely. Cut the yarn, weave in the end. Make blocking of the circle shawl.
