You’ll Need:

550g of violet/crimson/plum Lana Grossa Musica yarn (97% cotton, 3% polyamide; 75m/50g);

Crochet hook 5.

Size:

S-M.

Used Patterns

Arched Pattern: the quantity of stitches is multiple of 5 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to the scheme with straight and reversed rows. Start every row with the needed quantity of chain stitches, as shown on the scheme.

Begin with stitches before the 1st arrow in width, pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the 2nd arrow. Make the 1st-5th rows once in height, then repeat the 2nd-5th rows.

Stitches Control

2 pattern repeats x 6 rows = 7 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back and Front

Make 160 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the arched pattern = 32 pattern repeats in a row (8 pattern repeats from both sides refer to each half of the front, the central 16 pattern repeats – to back). In 50 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, divide your work from both sides of central pattern repeats for arm-holes. At first, crochet back straight. In 18 cm = 11 rows from the beginning of arm-holes, finish your work. Then, crochet straight for 8 pattern repeats of front. In 18 cm = 11 rows mark the end of arm-hole and crochet straight for 28.5 cm = 17 rows for details of yoke. Finish your work.

Assembly

Sew short sides of yoke details = central back seam. Then, sew the inner edge of the yoke to the upper edge of back in order to A and B on pattern design coincide. Leave 18 cm open for arm-holes.
