Stitches Control
26.5 sts x 25.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Back
Cast on 120 (136) sts and knit 6 cm of ornament A for the placket. Then, knit with ornament B. After the 1st row, there are 134 (152) sts in work. Bind off 9 x 1 st = 116 (134) sts in every 12th row from both sides at the same time. In 57 cm = 146 rows (54 cm = 138 rows) from the placket, bind off 3 sts for arm-holes from both sides and in every 2nd row - 1 x 2 sts and 5 x 1 sts = 96 (114) sts. In 80 cm = 204 rows from the placket, bind off the middle 42 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For rounding, bind off 1 x 5 sts and 1 x 4 sts from the inner edge in every 2nd row. At the same time, in 81 cm = 206 rows from the placket, bind off 6 (9) sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers and 2 x 6 (9) sts in every 2nd row. Finish work in 82 cm = 210 rows from the placket.
Front
Make the same way as the back, but for a deeper neck-hole, lay 24 sts in 73 cm = 186 rows from the placket and bind off 1 x 6 sts, 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 3 sts, and 4 x 1 sts from the inner edge.
Sleeve
Cast on 72 (80) sts and knit 6 cm with ornament A for the placket. Then, knit with ornament B in the following way: start with 1 selvedge st, repeat the pattern B, and finish with the sts after the pattern B and 1 selvedge st. Repeat from 1st to 4th rows. At the same time, add 7 x (in every 8th row 11 x) 1 st in every 12th row for sleeve chamfers from both sides = 86 (102) sts, including added sts in the ornament. In 37.5 cm = 96 rows from the placket, bind off 4 (5) sts for the sleeve head from both sides and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 5 x 1 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 3 sts, 2 x 4 sts in every 2nd row (1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 sts, 2 x 2 sts, 3 x 3 sts, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 5 sts). In 48.5 cm = 124 rows from the placket, bind off the remaining 20 (22) sts.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. Transfer the laid 24 sts of the front to the circle needles, cast on 130 sts along the neck-hole and knit the placket on all 154 sts in the following way: continue work on the 12 middle sts of the front according to the braid ornament.
