Cupcakes for Aubrey
Watched a video on You-tube after seeing cupcake crochet hat... the pattern is hysterical fun. I doubled the frosting... Great-granddaughter Aubrey's favorite part anyway. As soon as son sends head measurements, the top rounds of her hat will be finished and fly off to Santa's Shop in North Carolina. Aubrey will have carry purse that matches.
Crochet Journal
Hello Everyone, when I started crocheting I purchased a Journal. When I found an interesting stitch or pattern I would write it in my journal. Whenever I crocheted one of the patterns or stitches I would add any information I found helpful while crocheting. It's amazing how useful this has been when I've gone back to one of the pages. Hope this helps someone else. Happy Crocheting.
Did you know about the oldest crochet artifact?
Hi all, Did you know that the oldest crochet artifact dates back to the early 19th century? It's a crochet sampler that was found in an archaeological dig in South America. It's amazing to think about how long people have been enjoying this craft! Best, Bella

Favorite crochet tools
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a new set of crochet hooks and I'm absolutely loving them! They're so smooth and make crocheting so much easier. I've also been using a yarn cutter pendant and it's been a game-changer. What are your favorite tools for crochet projects? Best, Lyla
Penguin Butt Ornament
There's no cuter winter animal than a penguin! Decorate your Christmas tree with a flock of Penguin Butt Ornaments this year. This crochet pattern works up quickly using just a few yards of worsted weight yarn or Pipsqueak yarn (or other fluffy yarn), so it's a great stash buster. Crochet a few ornaments and adorn them with ribbons, bells, or any other embellishment. Also makes a great gift-wrapping adornment! Skill level: Easy Finished ornament measures approximately 3.75” wide by 3.5” tall using wors...

Ideas for Christmas
Hi everyone! As you all know I once tried to host a Halloween competition. It didn't go according to plan :( However, I really want to try again for Christmas. I've given myself a lot of time in advance to plan this, and hopefully we can all do something really special for Christmas. Here's my idea: The Craftorator admin will choose a clothing pattern for everyone to make, and then we'll have a competition. Holidays
Hey everyone! I know this is probably a very diverse group of crafters. With that in mind I want to ask if you guys have some non-– Christmas related patterns that are holiday themed. There are a lot of cultures in America as we are melting pot. I wanna surprise some of my cultural coworkers with specific Lee made crafts for their religion. Let me know if you guys have any patterns related to Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or Diwali. Thanks!
