Looking for inspiration for my next crochet project

Hi there,
I'm looking for some inspiration for my next crochet project. I'm thinking about making a shawl or a scarf but I'm open to other ideas. Does anyone have any patterns or projects that they've tried and loved?

I found an easy stitch that is fun to do and looks great. It's called Crossed Double Crochet Afghan by theloopholefox. com on YouTube. I've used this stitch for scarves which I donated to nursing homes. They use items like this as Bingo prizes. This gets more residents involved. It's a good way to use odds an ends of yarn we all have. Happy Crocheting
