You’ll need:

650 (700) 700g of mustard Bio Merinos yarn (95% merino wool, 5% linen; 150m/50g);

Crochet hook 3,5.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Pattern for plackets: single crochets. Start every row with 1 chain st increase and finish with 1 single crochet in the 1st single crochet of the previous row.

Main pattern: RS row: 1 chain st increase, single crochets through back loops;

WS row: 2 chain sts increase, half crochets in both loops of the previous row.

Stitches control: 17,5 sts x 15,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 74 (80) 86 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and make 2 cm = 4 rows with pattern for plackets, increase 12 sts in the last row = 86 (92) 98 sts. Then, work with the main pattern. In 40 cm = 62 rows (39 cm = 60 rows) 38 cm = 58 rows from placket, bind off 6 sts from both sides for arm-holes and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 70 (76) 82 sts. In 59,5 cm = 92 rows from placket, skip 6 (7) 8 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers and 2 x 6 (7) 8 sts in every 2nd row. At the same time with the 1st decrease, bind off 30 sts for neck-hole and finish the sides separately, bind off 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. In 62 cm = 96 rows form the placket, finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 50,5 cm = 78 rows from placket, bind off the central 22 sts and 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row.

Sleeves

Make 38 (41) 44 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and make 2 cm = 4 rows of pattern for plackets, increase 24 sts in the last row = 62 (65) 68 sts. Then, work with the main pattern. In 38,5 cm = 60 rows from placket, bind off 6 sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 7 x 1 st, 3 x 2 sts and 2 x 3 sts in every 2nd row. In 55,5 cm = 86 rows from the set-up row, finish your work on the rest 12 (15) 18 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams.

For hood, make 102 single crochets from the edge of neck-hole, start and finish in the center of front. Then, work with the main pattern. In 24,5 cm = 38 rows form the beginning of hood, divide your work in the middle and then finish both sides separately = 51 sts for each side. For smooth rounding, bind off 5 x 1 st and 5 x 8 sts in every 2nd row from inwards. In 38,5 cm = 60 rows from the beginning of hood, finish your work on the rest 6 sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
