Materials

Yarn: Any category four yarn (75% of Lion Brand’s Pound of Love in pastel pink suggested)

Hooks: 4mm and 6mm crochet hook

Tools: Scissors, stitch markers, tape measure


Abbreviations

ch: Chain

sl st: Slip Stitch

sc: Single Crochet

hdc: Half Double Crochet

dc: Double Crochet

bl: Back Loop


Hoodie Pattern

Body

Start:

Yarn: Category 4

Hook: 6mm

Measurement: Chain from underarm to desired length (example: 6 inches or 15 cm, 23 chains)


Row 1:

Ch 1, sl st into the second ch from hook.

Continue sl st across each chain.

Turn.

Subsequent Rows:

Ch 2 (counts as an increase).

Bl sl st across the row.

Turn.

Continue in this pattern (ch 2, bl sl st) until the portion reaches from mid underarm to the front of the body.
