150g of light-blue yarn (70% wool, 30% alpaca; 140m/50g);
150g of the same yarn, but in violet color;
150g of the same yarn, but in light-grey color;
150g of the same yarn, but in ecru color;
Crochet hook 5.
Size of Cowl
28.5 cm height, 130 cm circumference.
Used Patterns
Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple of 10 + 6.
Work according to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, then pattern repeat, and finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-9th rows once, and then repeat 2nd-9th rows according to the colors order.Stitches Control
23 sts x 10.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Poncho
For the 1st detail of the poncho, make 126 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with light-blue yarn and work with the main pattern. In 80 cm = 84 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. Make the 2nd detail in the same way.
Assembly
Sew the 2nd detail with the set-up row to the right diagonal side of the 1st detail. Sew the last row of the 1st detail to the left side edge of the 2nd detail. Fasten the edge of the neck-hole with 2 circle rows of single crochets using light-grey yarn. Weave a bunch of fringe of light-grey yarn into every 2nd selvage st (5 threads of 28 cm long).
Cowl
Make 66 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. In 129.5 cm = 136 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. Sew the short sides.
