White Crochet Tunic

You’ll need:

700g of white Gracia yarn (70% cotton, 17% viscose, 13% polyamide; 115m/50g);

Crochet hook 3,5 and 4.

Size: S-M.

Used Patterns

Single crochets: work in circle rows. Start every row with 2 chain sts increase instead of the 1st single crochet and finish with 1 slip st in the 2nd chain st increase.

Arches pattern: work due to the scheme, at first, with circle rows, then, with straight and reversed rows. Circle row a means the last row of placket Arrows a and b, c and d, e and f are edges of pattern. Make groups of treble crochets in the arches of the previous row. Make 1st-4th rows x once, repeat 3rd-4th rows x 9 times, finish with the 23rd and 24th rows. Then, work with straight and reversed rows.

Stitches control: arches pattern, crochet hook 4: 2 pattern repeats x 6 rows = 11 x 10 cm;

Single crochets, crochet hook 3,5: 19 sts x 7 rows = 10 x 3 cm.

Note: make tunic as one-piece cloth with circle rows to the beginning of sleeves.

Instructions

Back and Front

Make 182 chain sts with crochet hook 3,5 and circle them with 1 slip st in the ring, make 3 cm of single crochets in circle rows for placket. Then, work with arches pattern with crochet hook 4, make pattern repeats of 8 single crochets in the 1st circle row. Fasten the rest 2 single crochets at the passing of circle row as it’s stated on the scheme = 20 pattern repeats. In 40 cm = 24 rows from placket, divide your work for sleeves in the way, that passings of circle rows are on the left side seams and continue making these details separately.

At first, finish back, then, for sleeve, join to work with 1 slip st from the right side and make a chain of 51 chain sts, from left side – join with 1 slip st for sleeve and make a chain of 51 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. Then, make 25th row = WS row, repeat the patterns between arrows c and d, e and f x 3 times = totally, 20 pattern repeats. After that, make 26th-28th rows x once and repeat 27th-28th rows x 7 times. In 26 cm = 16 rows from the beginning of sleeve, leave the central 4 pattern repeats and finish both sides separately. Make 2 rows of 8 pattern repeats from each side and finish your work.

Front with Sleeves

Finish in the same way, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, leave the central 4 pattern repeats in 20 cm = 12 rows from the beginning of sleeves and finish both sides separately. Make 6 rows of 8 pattern repeat from each side and finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder and sleeve seams with the help of slip sts. For placket, fasten neck-hole with single crochets in circle rows with crochet hook 3,5, make 50 single crochets in the 1st row of front and back neck-hole (each), 22 single crochets from both sides = 144 single crochets. Make corner st together with the next st in the corners of every circle row. Finish your work at 3 cm = 7 rows height of placket. For plackets, fasten the edges of sleeves with single crochets in circle rows with crochet hook 3,5, make 60 single crochets in the 1st row, make 16 x knit2tog in the 2nd row = 44 single crochet. Finish your work at 3 cm = 7 rows height of placket.
