​Cream Pullover-Poncho

You’ll need:

125g of cream yarn (80% cotton, 20% polyamide; 155m/25g);

Crochet hook 4.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 12 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start every row with 1 or 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st single crochet or double crochet and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-9th rows x once, then, repeat 2nd-9th rows.

Pattern for placket: work with single crochets.

Circle rows: start every circle row with 1 chain st instead of the 1st single crochet and finish with 1 slip st in chain st increase. Insert crochet hook only behind back loop, starting from the 2nd circle row. Make rows in straight and reversed directions: start every row with 1 chain st increase instead of the 1st single crochet and finish with 1 single crochet in chain st increase of the previous row. Insert crochet hook only behind back loop, in WS rows – only behind front loop in WS rows.

Stitches control: main pattern: 20 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern for placket: 16 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 142 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and make 1 cm = 2 rows of single crochets, start every row with 1 chain st instead of the 1st single crochet and finish with 1 single crochet in chain st increase. At the same time, increase 27 sts in the 2nd row = 169 sts. Continue work with the main pattern = 13 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeat from both sides. In 36,5 cm = 40 rows from the beginning of main pattern, skip the central pattern repeat + ½ pattern repeat minus 1 st for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, decrease 2 x ½ pattern repeat in the following 14 rows from inwards = 4 pattern repeats + ½ for each shoulder. In 49 cm = 54 rows from the beginning of the main pattern, the middle of shoulder is reached. Continue making back in the next row with the help of 47 chain sts on all sts as one-piece cloth. In 98 cm = 108 rows from the beginning of main pattern, make 1 cm = 2 rows of single crochets, decrease 27 sts in the 1st row, finish your work on the rest 142 sts.

Placket

Make 30 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with pattern for placket in straight and reversed directions. Finish your work in 90 cm.

Assembly

Fasten neck-hole with circle rows of pattern for placket for collar, make 114 sts in the 1st circle row. In 16 cm from the beginning of collar, finish your work. Make lower seams and sleeve seams to 19,5 cm from both sides (from * to * on the pattern design). Sew set-up row and bound off edge of placket. Sew right cross edge of placket to the lower edge of pullover.
