150g of light-grey Lampone yarn (70% cotton, 30% polyamide; 135m/50g);

Used Patterns

Main Pattern

The quantity of sts is odd. Work due to scheme 1 at zigzag pattern. Repeat 1st-2nd rows.

Stripes order, main pattern: 2 light-grey rows, 2 mélange green rows.

Zigzag Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple of 20 + 1. Work due to scheme 2. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-4th rows once, then, repeat 3rd-4th rows twice and finish with the 5th row.

Stripes order, zigzag pattern: 2 light-grey rows, 2 blue rows, 2 orange rows, 2 blue rows, 1 row (5th row of scheme 2) with light-grey/orange yarn, work with 2 skeins and make double crochets and chain sts with light-grey yarn, beads – with orange yarn.

Stitches Control:

Main pattern: 20 sts x 13 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Zigzag pattern: 28 sts = 10 cm wide.

Make 201 (201) 221 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase for zigzag border with light-grey yarn and make zigzag pattern. Make 1 row of double crochets with light-grey yarn in 9 rows from the set-up row, decrease 56 (56) 62 sts = 145 (145) 159 sts. Then, work with the main pattern, making stripes order. In 9 rows from zigzag pattern, finish border. Then, crochet on the central 81 (89) 97 sts. In 27 (30) 33 cm from border, leave the central 33 sts for neck-hole and crochet separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in every row from inwards. In 5 cm from the beginning of neck-hole, finish your work on 16 (20) 24 sts of shoulder.

Front

Make front in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, leave the central 25 sts in 18 (21) 24 cm from border and bind off 2 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every row and 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row.

Sleeves

Make 65 (69) 73 chain sts with grey-green mélange yarn and make 10 cm of single crochets for placket, start every row with 1 chain st increase. Then, work with the main pattern, making stripes order. In 10 cm from placket, finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole with 3 rows of single crochets with grey-green mélange yarn, decrease 3 sts from right and left sides. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
