You’ll need:

300 (350) 400g of white-beige (#2) Landlust Sommerseide yarn (50% silk, 50% cotton; 170m/50g);

Knitting needles 4 and 4,5;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Garter stitch: knit.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 9 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, make WS rows sts and yarn overs as purls. Repeat 1st-4th rows.

Marked decreases: from right side: 1 selvage st, 1 broaching; from left side: knit2tog, 1 selvage st.

Stitches control: stockinette stitch: 23 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern: 20 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 108 (118) 128 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 3 rows of garter stitch, then, work with stockinette stitch with knitting needles 4,5. In 32 cm from the set-up row, decrease 16 (17) 18 sts = 92 (101) 110 sts, make the next RS row with relief pattern and divide sts in the following way: 1 selvage st, 10 (11) 12 pattern repeats, 1 selvage st. For side chamfers, increase 1 x 1 st in the next 7th row from both sides, then, bind off 1 x 1 st in the next 6th row = 96 (105) 114 sts. Make increased sts as stockinette stitch. In 39 cm from the set-up row, mark the beginning of arm-holes from both sides. In 20 (21) 22 cm from marks, bind off 1 x 4 (4) 5 sts, then, bind off 4 x 4 sts and 2 x 5 sts in every 2nd row (6 x 5 sts in every 2nd row) 2 x 5 sts and 4 x 6 sts in every 2nd row. In 62 (63) 64 cm from the set-up row, bind off the central 26 (27) 26 sts, then, decrease 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row.

Front

Make in the same way, as back. In 51 (52) 53 cm form the set-up row, divide your work in the center (bind off the central st) = 48 (52) 57 sts and continue knit separately, decrease 18 x 1 st in every 2nd row. Make shoulder chamfers in the same way, as for back.

Sleeves

Cast on 62 sts with knitting needles 4 and make 3 rows of garter stitch, then, change to knitting needles 4,5 and work with stockinette stitch. For chamfers, increase 1 x 1 st in the 25th row from the beginning of stockinette stitch, then, bind off 6 x 1 st in every 6th row (4 x 1 st in every 6th row, 10 x 1 st in every 4th row) 16 x 1 st in every 4th row = 88 (92) 98 sts. In 30 cm from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 10 (19) 11 sts, then, bind off 3 x 9 sts (2 x 10 sts and 1 x 9 sts) 1 x 11 sts and 2 x 10 sts in every 2nd row. Bind off the rest 14 sts in 33 cm from the set-up row.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole with 1 row of “shrimp stitch”. Sew up the sleeves to 20 (21) 22 cm from shoulder seams. Make side and sleeve seams.
