Instructions

Front

Cast on 74 (82) 90 sts with double yarn and knitting needles 4 and make 2 cm of rib for placket. Continue work with the main pattern with knitting needles 5. In 43,5 cm = 104 rows from placket, bind off 1 x 4 (4) 5 sts for shoulder chamfers, then, 4 x 4 sts (1 x 4 sts and 3 x 5 sts) 3 x 5 sts and 1 x 6 sts in every 2nd row. At the same time with shoulder chamfers, bind off the central 8 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 9 x 1 st in every row. In 47,5 cm = 114 rows from placket, bind off the rest 4 (5) 6 sts of shoulder. Finish the second side in symmetry.

Back

Start in the same way, as front, but work with round neck-hole. For this, at 22,5 cm = 54 rows from placket, bind off the central 10 sts and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 9 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 18 (22) 26 sts. In 34 cm = 82 rows from placket, increase 1 x 1 st from inwards for forming neck-hole, then, bind off 8 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts in every 2nd row. In 43,5 cm = 104 rows from placket, make shoulder seam from outer edge, as it’s described for front, at the same time, cast on new 5 sts. In 45 cm = 108 rows from the set-up row, bind off 1 x 8 sts, then, 5 x 1 st in every row. Bind off the rest 4 (5) 6 sts of shoulder at the same height, as for front. Make the second half in symmetry.

Sleeves

Cast on 116 sts with double yarn and knitting needles 5 and make the 1st row (WS) with knit sts (don’t take this row into account. Continue work with cross edge pattern with knitting needles 5. In 23 cm = 70 rows from the set-up row, bind off sts.

Assembly

Fasten the edge of neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets with double yarn and crochet hook 4. Make thin lace 130 cm long and draw it through the holes of fastening. Make shoulder seams. Fasten the front and back neck-hole with circle rows of single crochets, connect corners at the height of back. Sew up the sleeves. Fasten the lower edges of sleeves with single crochets in double threads of yarn.
