Special Stitches

Tr/rf - wrap the yarn around the hook, insert the hook from in front and from right to left around the stem of the appropriate stitch, and complete the stitch normally.

Tr/rb - wrap yarn around the hook, insert the hook from behind and from right to left around the stem of the appropriate stitch, and complete the stitch normally.

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 11.

Row Instructions

1^st Row (RS): 1dc into each stitch;

2^nd Row: *tr/rb around next stitch, work a Puff stitch of hdc5tog all into next stitch, 1tr/rb around next stitch**, 1dc into next stitch; repeat from * once and from * to ** again;

3^rd Row: *leaving last loop of each stitch on hook work [1dc into next stitch, skip Puff stitch, work 1tr/rf around next stitch] ending with yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook, 1dc into top of Puff stitch, leaving last loop of each stitch on hook work [1tr/rf around the stitch before the same Puff stitch and 1dc into top of the stitch after the Puff stitch] ending with yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook**, 1dc into next stitch; repeat from * once and from * to ** again;

4^th Row: *tr/rb around next stitch, work a Puff stitch of hdc5tog all into next stitch, 1tr/rb around next stitch**, 1dc into next stitch; repeat from * once and from * to ** again.

Repeat 3^rd and 4^th rows.
