You’ll Need

550 (600) 650g of beige yarn (88% alpaca wool, 12% nylon; 60m/50g);

Wrong-Side Pattern

In RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts.

Pearl Pattern

* 1 knit st, 1 purl*; replace the pattern to 1 st in every row.

Fur Pattern

1^st row: 1 selvage st, leave st on LH needle, then, draw working yarn between 2 needles to yourself, twist thumb once (from right to left), draw previously left st on LH needles between needles and make as knit st. Slip st from LH needle. Return these 2 knit sts to LH needle and make as knit 2 together*; repeat from * to *, 1 selvage st;

2^nd row: purl.

Repeat 1^st-2^nd rows.

Stars Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1 + 2 selvage sts.

1^st row: 1 selvage st, * 1 purl, purl 3 together, leave sts on LH needle, yarn over and make the previously left 3 sts as purl 3 together*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl, 1 selvage st;

2^nd row: knit;

3^rd row: 1 selvage st, * purl 3 together, leave sts on LH needle, yarn over, make the previously left 3 sts as purl 3 together, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *, 2 purls, 1 selvage st;

4^th row: knit.

Repeat 1^st-4^th rows.

Stitches Control

8.5 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back and Front

Make as one-piece cloth to arm-holes. Cast on 71 (79) 87 sts and work with fur pattern with straight and reversed rows. In 10 cm from the set-up row, make 7 cm of stars pattern, make the next 7 cm with fur pattern and after that work with pearl pattern. In 30 cm from the beginning of pearl pattern, divide sts in the following way: leave the first 13 (15) 17 sts of right front, bind off 3 sts, leave the next 39 (43) 47 sts of back, bind off 3 sts, continue work on the next 13 (15) 7 sts of left front.

For this, make 6 cm of pearl pattern, then, make 4 cm of fur pattern and after that work with stars pattern. For smaller or bigger size, make 1 st of wrong-side pattern after/before selvage st. In 4 cm from the beginning of stars pattern, bind off 1 st from the right side, then, bind off 5 (6) 7 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 7 (8) 9 sts. Bind off sts in the next RS row. For back, make 6 cm of pearl pattern, then, make 4 cm of fur pattern and 16 (17) 18 cm more of stars pattern. Then, bind off sts. Make right front in symmetry to left front.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 162 (166) 170 sts along front and neck-hole with circular knitting needles 12 and work with fur pattern for 10 cm with straight and reversed rows, then, bind off sts.
