Instructions

Back

Make 79 (89) 99 chain stitches + 4 chain stitches increase and work with lace pattern = 8 (9) 10 pattern repeats. In 31.5 cm = 22 rows from the set-up row, create arm-holes from both sides = 69 (79) 89 stitches or 6 (7) 8 pattern repeats plus stitches from both sides of the pattern repeat. In 48.5 cm = 34 rows (50 cm = 35 rows) 51.5 cm = 36 rows from the set-up row, make 1 row as follows: for shoulder chamfers, make 2 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st half crochet, then 4 (5) 6 half-crochets, 5 (7) 9 double crochets, and 5 (7) 9 treble crochets, cut the yarn; leave the next 39 stitches for the neck-hole; for the second shoulder, join the yarn to the next stitch, 4 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st treble crochet and 4 (6) 8 treble crochets, 5 (7) 9 double crochets, and 5 (6) 7 half-crochets.

Front

Make in the same way, but with a deeper neck-hole. Bind off stitches for the back and front neck-hole at 37 cm = 26 rows (38.5 cm = 27 rows) and 38.5 cm = 27 rows. Make shoulder chamfers in the same way as for the back.

Sleeves

Make 39 (49) 59 chain stitches + 4 chain stitches increase and work with lace pattern = 4 (5) 6 pattern repeats. In 5.5 cm = 4 set-up rows, increase 1 pattern repeat from both sides during the next 10 rows = 6 (7) 8 pattern repeats. In 23 cm = 16 rows from the set-up row, decrease by 11.5 cm = 8 rows from both sides and bind off 1 pattern repeat. Finish your work in 34.5 cm = 24 rows from the set-up row, working on the remaining 4 (5) 6 pattern repeats.

Assembly

Make shoulder, side, and sleeve seams. Fasten the lower edge with fringe of “shells”, binding off 4 (2) 0 x 1 stitch in the 1st circle row = 18 (20) 22 pattern repeats. Fasten the edges of sleeves in the same way.
