You’ll need:

500 (550) 600 (650)g of purple Gedifra Riviera yarn (72% cotton, 16% silk, 12% viscose; 100m/50g);

Knitting needles 4.

 

Size: S (M) L (XL).

 

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Relief pattern: work due to the scheme. Make WS rows sts and yarn overs as purls. Repeat 6 sts of pattern and 2 sts of the 1st-4th rows as broaching.

Marked decreases: from the right side: 1 selvage st, 1 knit st, broaching; from the left side: knit2tog, 1 knit st, 1 selvage st.

 

Stitches control: 18 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Back

Cast on 86 (92) 98 (104) sts, make 1 WS row of purls and work with relief pattern = 14 (15) 16 (17) pattern repeats in a row. In 50 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 5 sts from both sides for arm-holes, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 62 (68) 74 (80) sts. In 19 (20) 21 (22) cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off sts.

 

Left Front

Cast on 45 (48) 51 (54) sts in criss-cross way, make 1 WS row of purls and work with relief pattern: 1 selvage st, 7 (7,5) 8 (8,5) pattern repeats, 1 st of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage st. In 46 cm from the beginning of work, make marked decreases: 1 st from the left side for neck-hole chamfer, then, 15 (16) 17 (18) x 1 st in every 4th row. At the same time, make arm-hole from the right side in 50 cm from the beginning of work in the same way, as for back. In 19 (20) 21 (22) cm from the beginning of arm-holes, bind off 17 (19) 21 (23) sts of shoulder.

 

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

 

Sleeves

Cast on 38 sts in criss-corss way, make 1 WS row of purls and work with relief pattern = 6 pattern repeats. Increase 1 st from both sides in the 16th (14th) 10th (8th) row for sleeve chamfers, then, bind off 6 (8) 11 (14) x 1 st in every 16th (12th) 10th (8th) row = 52 (56) 62 (68) sts. In 48 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 5 sts from both sides for sleeve cap, then, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row, 4 x 1 st in every 4th row, 3 (4) 6 (7) x 1 st and 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts in every 2nd row = 4 (6) 8 (12) sts. Bind off the rest 4 (6) 8 (12) sts.

 

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Sew up the sleeves.
