Special Stitch
2Cdc (2 crossed double crochets) = skip 2 sts, dc into the next st, ch 1, dc into the first of the 2 sts just skipped, working back over the last dc made.
The quantity of sts is a multiple of 4 + 1 + 2 chain sts increase.
Row Instructions
1st Row
Dc in 3rd ch from hook, *work 2 Cdc over the next 3 ch, dc into the next ch; repeat from * to end, turn;
2nd Row
Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), dc into the first st, sk 1 dc, *dc into the next st, work 2 Cdc over the next 3 dc; repeat from * ending with 1 dc into the last ch, sk 1 dc, 2 dc in the last st, turn;
3rd Row
Ch 2, dc in the 1st stitch, *work 2 Cdc over the next 3 sts, dc into the next st; repeat from * ending the last repeat into the top of tch, turn.
Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows.
