​Fancy Crochet Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1 chain st increase.

1st row (RS): Sc into 2nd ch from hook and each ch to end; turn;

2nd row: Ch 1, sc into first st and each st to end, sk tch, turn;

3rd row: Ch 1, draw loop on hook up to approx height of dtr; keeping loop on hook and not allowing it to change size through yarn slippage, insert hook into next st, yo, draw loop through; rep from * to end keeping all lace loops on hook. At end remove all except last lace loop from hook, yo draw loop through, turn;

4th row: *Always insert hook through next 4 lace loops together work 4 sc into these 4 loops; rep from * to end, turn.

Repeat 2nd-4th rows, ending by making the 2nd row x twice.
