How to Crochet a Stylish Turquoise Top

You’ll Need:

400g of turquoise 100% cotton yarn (330m/100g);

Crochet hook 3.

Size: S-M.

Note: Make pattern design in natural size.

Instructions

Top

Upper Part of Back

Make 82 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme 1. At 13 cm height, make arm-holes according to the pattern design.

Upper Part of Front

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole.

Lower Part of Top

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten the lower part of the top with 1 circle row of single crochets. Then, work according to the scheme 2, increasing the quantity of sts in stripes of every 5^th row. In 22 cm, finish your work. Fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets.

Flower

Make 7 chain sts and circle them in the ring. Make 5 arches of 5 chain sts in the ring. Then, make 35 double crochets in the center of the ring and create the following sts in every arch of 5 chain sts: *1 single crochet, 4 chain sts, 4 triple crochets, 4 triple treble crochets, 4 chain sts, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to * 4 times. Make 2 such flowers and sew them to the upper part of the top.

Skirt

Make 192 chain sts and work according to the scheme 2, increasing the quantity of crochets in the stripes in every 5^th row. In 40 cm, finish your work. For the belt, make chain sts along the upper edge and work according to the scheme 1, decreasing the quantity of crochets in stripes to 7. Finish your work in 7 cm.
