You’ll need:

100g of 100% wool yarn (175m/50g);

Knitting needles 3 and 3,5;

Auxiliary needle.

Used Patterns

Double rib: cast on ½ of the needed quantity of sts with auxiliary yarn:

1st row: main yarn: * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

2nd row: * 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, slip 1 purl, don’t finish it, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to * to end of row;

3rd row: * 1 knit st, slip 1 purl, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to * to end of row.

Make the 3rd row one more time. After finishing your work, take off the auxiliary yarn.

2 x 2 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS rows – knit sts, in WS rows – purls;

Wrong-side: in RS rows – purls, in WS rows – knit sts;

Garter stitch: all knit sts;

Small cable: is made on 2 sts:

1st row: cross 2 sts to right (make the 2nd knit st, insert the right-hand needle in front of the 1st st, don’t slip it, knit the 1st st, slip both sts);

2nd row: 2 purls;

3rd row: repeat from the 1st row;

Small cable to left: is made on 2 sts:

1st row: cross 2 sts to left (make the 2nd knit st, insert the right-hand needle behind the 1st st, don’t slip it, knit the 1st st, slip both sts);

2nd row: 2 purls;

3rd row: repeat from the 1st row;

Simple cable: is made on 4 sts:

1st row: knit;

2nd, 4th rows: purl;

3rd row: cross 4 sts to right (leave 3 sts on the auxiliary needle behind work, 1 knit st, knit sts from the auxiliary needle);

5th row: repeat from the 1st row;

Criss-cross pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple of 5 + 2 sts:

1st row: 1 purl, * 2 purl, cross 3 sts to right (leave 1 st on the auxiliary needle behind work, 2 knit sts, purls from the auxiliary needle)*; repeat from * to * to the last st, 1 purl;

2nd and all the even rows: due to the ornament;

3rd row: * 1 purl, cross 3 sts to right, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to the last st, 1 purl;

5th row: 1 purl, * cross 3 sts to right, 2 purls*; repeat from * to * to the last st, 1 purl;

7th row: 1 purl, * cross 3 sts to left (leave 2 sts on the auxiliary needle in front of work, 1 purl, knit sts from the auxiliary needle), 2 purls*; repeat from * to * to the last st, 1 purl;

9th row: 1 purl, * 1 purl, cross 3 sts to left, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * to the last st, 1 purl;

11th row: 1 purl, * 2 purl, cross 3 sts to left*; repeat from * to * to the last st, 1 purl.

Stitches control: with knitting needles 3,5: 36 sts x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 52 sts with knitting needles 3 and make 4 rows of double rib. Then, turn to the knitting needles 3,5. Next row: * 1 st of stockinette stitch, 1 st of wrong-side pattern, 2 sts of small cable to right, 1 st of wrong-side pattern, 1 st of stockinette stitch, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern, 2 sts of stockinette stitch, 2 sts of wrong-side pattern*; repeat from * to * one more time, 4 sts of simple cable – center of the glove, ** 2 sts of wrong-side patter, 2 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 st of stockinette stitch, 1 st of wrong-side pattern, 2 sts of small cable to left, 1 st of wrong-side pattern, 1 st of stockinette stitch**; repeat from ** to ** one more time. Increase 1 st x 7 in every 10th row from both sides. After 24 cm from the lower row, make 2 rows of garter stitch, 2 rows of wrong-side pattern. After 29,5 cm from the lower edge, bind off all the sts.

Make the second glove in the same way. Sew the end of glove to 3,5 cm, skip 4 cm for the thumb and finish the seam.
