​Sofina Crochet Tunic

You’ll need:

450/550/700g of dark-blue 100% acryl yarn;

Crochet hook 3;

Needle.

Size: S/M/L.

Instructions

Take measurements and make pattern design in natural size.

Crochet all the elements separately.

Start with relief square. There are 3 types of such squares with different tensions: A – 17 * 17 cm, B – 19 * 19 cm, C – 21 * 21 cm. Make 6 chain sts, circle them in the ring, work with circle rows due to the scheme.

For square A make pattern repeat from 1^st to 9^th row, for square B – 1^st-10^th rows, square C – 1^st-11^th rows.

Make relief motif in the same way, as square, but work only with straight and reversed rows, starting from the 5^th row (without the sts on the pink background on the scheme).

Back

Make 15 squares A, B, C. Place 3 square in width and 5 squares in height. Staring from the 2^nd square change the central chain st of arch of the previous square to 1 slip st in the places, marked with arrows on the scheme.

Front

This detail consists of 13 squares A, B, C and 1 motif. Place them on the patter design and sew tight.

Sleeves

Make 4 squares A, B, C and sew them tightly, placing 2 squares in height and 2 squares in width. For forming chamfers, make 6 straight and reversed rows of chain sts on the sides of sleeves.

Finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seam, leave 30 cm from each side for cuts. Sew the sleeves, fasten all the edges with 1 row of half-crochets.
