You'll need:

Fabric 1,20 m x 140 cm;

Zipper 40 cm long;

Threads;

Pins;

Scissors for cutting out;

Ruler;

Measuring tape;

Ruler for patchwork;

Stuffing with small balls;

Compass.

Instructions

Cut out:

a) side part with a 6x fold;

b) top part 1x;

c) a small bottom part 1x;

d) large 1x bottom detail;

All dimensions are in centimeters.

For part “a” (side part), first make the side part of the paper pattern.

To do this, fold the paper in half and place the part on the fold with the side indicated by the dotted line in the diagram.

Lay out the side part of the paper pattern in one layer, lay on the fabric, pin it and draw it 6 times on the fabric.

Cut out the details.

Neaten all the details.

On a small bottom part as an allowance, iron a straight cut on the wrong side to a width of 1 cm, pin the edge to the braid of the zipper and sew to the edge using a special foot for attaching the zipper.

On a large part of the bottom, straight cut as an allowance to iron on the wrong side by 2.5 cm, pin and sew to the other braid of the zipper so that the edge covers the teeth.

Sweep layers of fabric at the ends of the zipper.

Fold all side parts 6 with their front sides and grind at a distance of 1 cm.

Iron the seam allowances.

Stitch all parts from the front along the seams at a distance of 5 mm.

Pin the upper part from above with the front side to the front side and stitch it at a distance of 1 cm.

Notch seam allowances in a circle and iron on the wrong side.

Stitch the seam from the outside to the edge.

Stitch the bottom with the open zipper, laying a line in a circle at a distance of 1 cm.

Fill the ottoman pillow with balls.
