  • Caron One Pound in Sunflower (Color A) and Brown (Color B)
  • 5.5 mm & 4 mm crochet hooks
  • Purse Handle
  • Button

  • Yo, insert hook into the designated st and pull up a loop.

  • Yo, insert hook into same st and pull up a loop, yo draw through 2 loops (4 loops on hook)

Panel (Make 2)

With Color A and 5.5 mm hook, Ch 30

Row 1: 2 sc in second ch from hook, sc each ch across to last ch, 2 sc last ch, turn (31)

Rows 2-3: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, sc each st to last st, 2 sc last st, turn. (33,35)

Assembly

With the right sides of the two panels facing each other, sew around the outsides of the bag. Fold handle cover over premade handles & secure to back.

Optional Crochet Strap

With Color A and 4 mm hook, Ch 100

Round 1: hdc in second ch from hook, hdc each st until last ch, 3 hdc in last ch, working underneath the original ch, hdc in each st until last ch, 2 hdc in last ch, fasten off.

Stripe in Color B

Running slip stitch down center spaces made from the completed hdc sts. This will keep your strap from stretching out.
