Materials Needed

You will need:

  • For Pusheen the cat: Ayaz Babyfine yarn (180 m/100 g): grey #1195, dark grey #1130
  • For other kittens: YarnArt Dolce Baby (85 m/50 g): orange #852 or milk #745
  • YarnArt Jeans yarn: black or pink
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • 8 mm safety eyes
  • 6×8 mm safety nose (optional)
  • Stitch marker
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Fiberfill

Abbreviations

Creating the Tail

Change to grey yarn:

Change to grey yarn:

Cut the grey yarn and fasten off.

R 10: only 1 sc
Do not stuff the tail.
Fold the top opening flat and 4 sc through both sides.
Cut the yarn and fasten off.

If you use a safety nose, insert it in R 16.

With dark grey yarn:
For the grey cat (Pusheen the cat) crochet stripes with 8 surface slip stitches. The first strip between R 13 and R 14, the second one between R 15 and R 16.

Stuff the body with fiberfill.

Sew the top opening edge closed.

Embroider a mouth and whiskers using a black YarnArt Jeans yarn, 3 stripes on the head using a dark grey plush yarn.

Sew the arms to the body between R 11-14.
