Pillow Instructions
Fold down 2 corners of your pillow and sew into position. This pillow should fit your pillow cover. Remove the pillow to continue working on the blanket compartment.
Blanket Compartment Instructions
Round 48
Attach Silver Sprinkles (A) yarn to R32 of pillow cover. Start in the same position as the previous ch 2 and work into both loops as usual, ignoring R33. dc x 110, sl st to first st & ch x 2 (110 sts)
Round 49 – 55
Remember to start every round in the same stitch as previous as sl st (not next stitch), dc x 110, sl st to first st & ch x 2 (7 rounds of 110 sts)
Round 56 – 70
Repeat R33 – R47 to make the second set of fastening flaps (15 rows/rounds)
Flippers Instructions
Make 2 flippers.
Round 1
Use Silver Sprinkles (A) yarn. In a MR, ch x 2 & dc x 10, sl st to first st & ch x 2 (10 sts)
Round 2
dc x 10, sl st to first st, fasten off & weave in ends (10 sts)
Round 3 – 4
Repeat R1 & R2 to make a separate piece.
Round 5 – 6
Repeat R1 & R2 to make another separate piece but do not fasten off.
Round 7
This round will be worked into all individual flipper pieces to join them together. You will get gaps between the bumps which will be sewn up later. dc x 10 around R6, dc x 5 into R4, dc x 10 around R2, dc x 5 into R4 unworked sts, sl st to first st & ch x 2 (30 sts)

Muzzle Assembly Instructions
Tie both pieces together so the knot creates a small gap between the pieces. Sew the muzzle over R24 – R30. Muzzle should be centre aligned between flippers.

Use Peppercorn (C) yarn. ch x 3, 2dc in first ch, ch x 2 & turn (2 sts)

Nose & Mouth Assembly Instructions
Sew nose between the muzzle pieces. Then using the same yarn color, embroider a mouth from the bottom of the nose, halfway around the muzzle pieces.
Eyes Instructions
Make 2 eyes.

Use Peppercorn (C) yarn. In a MR, ch x 2 & dc x 10, sl st to first st & ch x 2 (10 sts)

(2sc, sc) 10 times, sl st to first st, fasten off & leave tail for sewing. Using white (B) yarn, sew some details onto the eyes between R2 & R3 (30 sts)
Eyes Assembly Instructions
Sew eyes over R17 – R22 of the pillow cover. There should be 7 sts visible between the eyes.
Eyelashes Instructions
Use Peppercorn (C) yarn. Sew eyelashes over R19. Top eyelash covers 4 sts, bottom eyelash covers 2 sts.
Eyebrows Instructions
Use Peppercorn (C) yarn. Sew curved eyebrows over R15 & half of R14. Eyebrows are 5 sts long.
Cheeks Instructions
Make 2 cheeks.
Round 1
Use Strawberry Ice Cream (D) yarn. In a MR, ch x 2 & dc x 10, sl st to first st, fasten off & leave tail for sewing (10 sts)
Cheeks Assembly Instructions
Sew cheeks over R27 & R28. Centre align with muzzle. Leave a gap 1 st wide from the muzzle.
Whiskers Instructions
Use Peppercorn (C) yarn. All whiskers start from the edge of the cheek on R28.

Starfish Assembly Instructions
Make sure blanket is straight and button holes are on the back. Sew starfish onto right side of sleeping bag over R68 – R77.
Sea Shell Instructions
Round 1
Use White Marshmallow (B) yarn. In a MR, ch x 1, sc x 5, hdc x 5 (10 sts)
Round 2
BLO: 2hdc x 5, 2 dc x 5 (20 sts)
Round 3
BLO: (2dc, dc) 5 times. BLO: (2tr, tr) 5 times. Fasten off & leave tail for sewing (30 sts)
Round 4
Use Strawberry Ice Cream (D) yarn. Turn & work into previous st. BLO: sl st x 30. Fold work and continue working into FLO of R3 then R2. FLO: sl st x 25.
Fasten off & pull tail through MR. Weave in R4 ends.
Shell Assembly Instructions
Sew shell onto left side of sleeping bag over R34 – R39. Make sure blanket is straight and button holes are on the back.
How It Works
Use as a Pillow
Pop a pillow into the pillow case and button closed. Roll up the sleeping bag and insert into the pillow compartment then button up.
Use as a Sleeping Bag & Pillow
Unbutton the sleeping bag compartment. Pull out the sleeping bag. Button the sleeping bag to the pillow case.
Wash & Store
Removable pillow for easy washing and storage.
