Pattern
RND 1: With orange yarn, Ch 45, join in a circle,
1 sc in each ch around, join to the 1st sc, ch 1 (45 sc)
RND 2: 1 sc in each sc around join to the 1st sc, ch 1, ch 3 (45 sc)
RND 3: 1 hdc in each sc around, join to the 1st hdc, ch 1 (45 hdc)
RND 4: 1hdc in the 1st 3 hdc,
* fpdc in the next 2 hdc, 1 hdc in the next 3 hdc*
Repeat from * to * around, join to the 1st hdc, ch 1 (18 fpdc, 27 hdc)
RND 5: 1hdc in the 1st 3 hdc,
* fpdc in the next 2 fpdc, 1 hdc in the next 3 hdc*
Repeat from * to * around, join to the 1st hdc, ch 1 (18 fpdc, 27 hdc)
RND 6: RND 17 – Repeat RND 5
Add more or less rows to adjust the length of the pumpkin pillow.
RND 18: Chgto, green yarn, hdc in the 1st st,
*fpdc in the next st, hdc in the next st*
Repeat from * to * around, join to the 1st hdc, ch 1
RND 19: RND 20 – Repeat RND 18, tie off leaving a 24-inch tail of yarn.
Flip pillow wrong side out, slst the top closed, tie off,
weave in your ends.
Turn right side out, and stuff the pillow.
Join the orange yarn to the bottom corner of the pillow and slst the bottom closed.
Weave in the ends securely.
Leaf and Stem
Leaf: With green yarn, ch 10, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
sc in the next ch, hdc in the next ch, dc in the next 2 chs,
hdc in the next ch, sc in the next 2 ch, slst in the last ch,
(2 sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, 2 sc, slst)
Stem: Ch 10, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in each ch,
tie off and attach to the top of the pumpkin.
Vine Curl: Ch 12, 3 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
3 hdc in each of the chs, attach to the base of the pumpkin stem.
Tie off and weave in the ends.
