Rounds are joined to the ch2/ch3 with a slst. Color changes are not listed. You can change colors as you like, according to your yarn stash.

R: 28 - Joining the Ends
Place the two ends together and sc the ends together, ch1, do not tie off.

Sc around the top of the ankle band, stitch 1 sc in each row, join, ch 2 (28 sc)
