- Aran weight yarn in your choice of colour
- 5mm crochet hook
- Wool needle
- Buttons
Stitches and Abbreviations
- Sl st – slip stitch
- dc – double crochet
- tr – treble crochet
- BLO – work in the back loop of the stitch only
Instructions
Make Two
- Ch 26
- Row 1: tr in the 3rd ch from the hook, tr in each st along the ch (24 sts)
- Row 2-15: ch 2, turn, working in BLO throughout, tr in each st to the end (24 sts)
Fold in half and work the next row through the matching stitches on both edges to join them together to form the hand warmer. Dc in the first ten sts, Sl st through one side only in the next six sts to form the thumb hole, dc through both sides again in the last eight sts.
Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
