Cotton Yarn - 4 ply, worsted weight
Hook: Size H

Stitches used: ch, sl st, sc, dc.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

NOTE: Entire pattern is worked from the right side.
Do not turn on any rows.

ROW 1: Ch 4, 11dc in 4th ch from hook. Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch4. (12dc)

ROW 2: (Ch3, sk next st. Sl st in next st) around.

R3: Sl st in next ch3 sp. Ch3, 4dc in same sp.
5dc in ea rem ch3 sp.
Join with sl st in top of beg ch3. (30dc)

R4: Rep R2.

R5: Sl st in next ch3 sp. Ch3, 3dc in same sp.
4dc in ea rem ch3 sp.
Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.

R6: Rep R2.

R7: Sl st in next ch3 sp. Ch3, 2dc in same sp.
3dc in ea rem ch3 sp.
Join with sl st in top of beg ch3.

R8: Rep R2.

R9: Sl st in next ch3 sp.
Ch3, dc in ch3 sp to right of ch3.
(Dc in next unworked ch3 sp.
Dc in ch3 sp to right. -cross stitch made -) around.
Join with sl st in the top of the beg ch3. [45 cr sts]

R10: Ch3, dc in dc to right of ch3.
(Sk next st to left of ch3. Dc in next st.
Dc in skipped st. -cr st made- ) around.
This will stagger the cr sts with the ones on the previous rnd.
Join with a sl st in the top of the beg ch3.

R11: Sl st in next dc. Sc in sp bet that dc and the next dc (in bet the 2 cr sts).
(Ch3, sc in sp bet next 2 cr sts) around to last.
Ch3, sl st in 1st sc made.
