She is so sweet. We have a beagle. His name is Lucky. I love dogs. Lucky is 8 years old. He loves to play with stuffed animals and loves to play outside. He dont like cats though ever since he tried to make friends with one and the cat pawed him and scratched him and since then he dont like them. He will stand and bark at them.
I have been crocheting for about 8 years now. I would like to learn how to knit. I also do plastic canvas, jewelry, ornmanents, sewing, embroidery, paint by number, diamond dots, painting wooden items, felt sequin, and hooked rugs. I am going to try making some candles and other homemade stuff. I love to learn new things. I am always trying to find new things to try
My granddaughter just now started getting into Barbies. She is one that was into just coloring and riding her bike and watching tv. I am going to make her some clothes and some plastic canvas furniture for Barbie. I am also going to make 18 inch doll clothes for her other dolls. I made her a wooden doll house a few years ago and my son said she just tore it up. So I am going to wait tll she gets a little older and I will make her a plastic canvas cabin doll house.
I am going to see if I can get me one of those dvds to fit into my computer for beginners and try to learn from that. I finally picked up crochet using a dvd that someone gave me because they didn't need it anymore. It was nice because I could stop it restart it and be able to learn at my own pace.
I will post them as soon as I figure out my new laptop and how to post photos on here. I just got it last week and I am used to my tablet so I am trying to figure out all the functions on this one. But as soon as I do I will be more then happy to post them.
It is nice to meet you. I want to start posting my work but right now I am still trying to figure out how to use this new laptop I got for Christmas. The Lord gives me the joy I have. I couldnt do anything without Him. He gave me the gift of crafting. I am so grateful for that. I enjoy it so much.I am hoping to make some good friends on here also. I am glad i found this site. I am going to start working on some Valentine and Easter decor this weekend.
Hello Helen, It is nice to meet you. I started crocheting 7 years ago. I tried before that but never could pick it up and I kept on trying now I am able to make a lot of different things. I decided to do it after my mom passed when I was 40. I wanted to keep her memory alive by doing something she loved doing. I love making things for others. It brings me so much joy. I do crocheting, plastic canvas, diamond dotz, jewelry, paint by number, ornaments, embroidery, cross stitch, beading banners, felt applique, and i just got a kit to learn to make candles. I love learning new things. I like to swim, sing, spend time with my family, read, garden both vegetables and flowers, baking and cooking.I have 3 children 1 daughter and 2 sons and I have 7 grandchildren. 2 girls and the rest boys. I was divorced in 2000 and am now engaged to a wonderful man… We are both disabled.

I never picked up the skill of knitting but I wont give up. I am going to keep trying. I love making things for Christmas and other holidays. My children say they enjoy getting something homemade from me for Christmas because they say it means more to them because of the love that is put into it. I love to give my handmade things to people. Just seeing their reaction makes me feel good. I have given hats to our local food pantry so they could give them to people who need them. I have made alot of different crochet items. I made some stuffed animals for my grandson and he still has them. My daughter said he dont want to give them up. He is my oldest grandson and is 13 now. I made them for him when he was about 8 years old.
