Knitting Instructions for a Cotton Garment



You'll Need:
650 (700) g of red cotton yarn (100% cotton, 65m/50g); knitting needles 7.
Garter Stitch:
Knit and purl rows - knit stitches.
Main Pattern:
The quantity of stitches: 10 + 6 + 2 edge fold. Knit according to the scheme, which states only knit stitches. Knit stitches and back purl in the purl row with purls.
Knit rows 1-20, then repeat rows 5-20.Density:
15 stitches and 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Back:
Cast on 88 (98) stitches on needles 7 and knit 2 cm of garter stitch, starting with the 1st purl row. Then knit with the main pattern. After 58 (56) cm from the beginning of work, cast on 1 x 10 stitches = 108 (118) stitches from both sides for the sleeves. Knit cast stitches with the main pattern. After 71 cm from the beginning of your work for the back cutout, divide your work into two sides and finish them separately, knitting 1 garter stitch (knit row - knit stitches, purl row - purls) on the edge before and after the edge. After 75 cm, close 54 (59) stitches from both sides.
Left Front:
Cast on 48 (53) stitches on needles 7 and knit 2 cm of garter stitch, starting with 1 purl row. Then knit with the main pattern. For size S, start with the stitches in front of the pattern, repeat the pattern, and finish with edging. After 58 (56) cm from the beginning of your work, cast on 10 stitches = 58 (63) stitches from the right side for the sleeve. Knit the cast stitches with 1 x 1 stitch in the next 2nd row, 1 x 1 stitch, and in each 4th row 2 x 1 stitch. Close the remaining 54 (59) stitches after 75 cm from the beginning.
Right Front:
Knit symmetrically to the left front.
Assembly:
Knit the cutout with 1 row of back purl single crochet. Make shoulder, side, and sleeve joints.
