How to Crochet with Chain Stitches and Single Crochets


The quantity of chain stitches is a multiple of 5 + 3 + chain stitch increase.
1st Row: 1 chain stitch increase, * 1 single crochet in the next chain stitch, skip 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in the next chain stitch, 3 chain stitches, skip 2 chain stitches*; repeat from * to *, 1 single crochet in the next chain stitch, 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in the last chain stitch;
2nd Row: 4 chain stitches increase, 1 double crochet in the arch of 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in the arch of chain stitch, * 1 double crochet, 2 chain stitches and 1 double crochet in the next arch of 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in the next arch of chain stitch*; repeat from * to *, 1 double crochet in the next arch of 1 chain stitch, 1 chain stitch, 1 double crochet in the last single crochet;
3rd Row: 1 chain stitch increase, 1 single crochet in double crochet, 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in the 1st arch of chain stitch, * 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet, 1 chain stitch and 1 single crochet in the next arch of chain stitch*; repeat from * to *, 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet, 1 chain stitch and 1 single crochet in chain stitch increase of the previous row.
Repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows for continued work.
