Step-by-Step Guide to Crochet Stitches Using Multiple Row Techniques

Introduction to the Crochet Pattern

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 3 + 8.

Instructions for Each Row

1st Row

Skip 7 chains. *Double crochet (dc) in the next chain, chain 2, skip 2 chains; repeat from * to the last stitch. Finish the row by dc in the last chain, then turn.

2nd Row

Chain 5 and skip the first double crochet.

*Double crochet in the next double crochet, chain 2, skip 2 chains; repeat from * to the last stitch. Complete the row by dc in the 3rd chain of the turning chain (tch), then turn.

Repeating the Pattern

Repeat the 2nd row as indicated.
