Instructions
Work as a one-piece cloth to the beginning of sleeves: cast on 181 (201) stitches with circular knitting needles 4.5 and work with 2 threads of cream yarn. Start with rib for placket, beginning with 1 selvage stitch, 1 knit stitch in RS row.
Make 4 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 4 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 8 cream rows, and bind off stitches as they face. Work with pattern for crochet hook on placket with cream yarn = 36 (40) pattern repeats. In 19 rows divide your work as follows:
9 (10) pattern repeats for the right front,
18 (20) pattern repeats for the back,
9 (10) pattern repeats for the left front.
Back
Make 40 (45) chain stitches from both sides for sleeves and include in pattern repeats = 34 (38) pattern repeats. In 24 rows for sleeve chamfers, bind off 32 (37) x 2 stitches in every 2nd row from both sides and 1 x 1 stitch = 41 stitches = 8 pattern repeats. For the hood, make 10 more rows. Finish your work.
Left Front
Make 40 (45) chain stitches in the place of division and include them in the pattern = 17 (19) pattern repeats. In 24 (28) rows, create sleeve chamfers at the right edge in the same way as the back = 4 pattern repeats, then finish your work.
Assembly
Connect sleeve chamfers with slip stitch from WS side. For the hood, connect the straight part of back (the last 10 rows) with the last 4 pattern repeats (21 stitches) of front.
Fasten the edges of sleeves with 1 row of slip stitches using cream yarn = 60 slip stitches. Cast on 60 stitches with cream yarn and work with rib following the stripes order: 30 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 4 cream rows, 2 beige rows, 4 cream rows. Bind off stitches in a criss-cross way. Make sleeve and placket seams. Fasten the edges of the fastener, including the hood, with 1 row of slip stitches. Cast on stitches along the slip stitch row and make 4 rows of stockinette stitch and bind off stitches. Sew zipper.
