Crochet Instructions for a Stylish Sweater with Superlana Tig Color Yarn

You’ll Need:

400g of mélange Superlana Tig Color yarn (75% acryl, 25% wool; 570m/100g);

Crochet hook 2.

S.

Stripes Order:

* 3 rows of double crochets, 5 rows due to the scheme*; repeat from * to * as needed.

Note:

Only circle rows are stated on the scheme, i.e. only back post double crochets (bpdc).

Instructions

Make 258 chain stitches. Work 4 rows of double crochets around.

Rows 5-9:

Follow the scheme. Double every 8^th crochet in the 5^th row, and make 8^th and 9^th crochets together in the 9^th row;

Rows 10-13:

Work double crochets;

Rows 14-18:

Follow the scheme. Double every 8^th crochet in the 14^th row, and make 8^th and 9^th crochets together in the 18^th row;

Rows 19-22:

Work double crochets;

Note: Divide stitches in half in the 16^th row and after that make back and front separately.

Rows 23-27:

Follow the scheme. Double every 8^th crochet in the 23^rd row;

Rows 28-31:

Work double crochets;

Rows 32-36:

Follow the scheme. Don’t make increases in the 32^nd row, and make 5^th and 6^th crochets together in the 36^th row;

Note: Work around, starting from the 32^nd row, and decrease stitches.

Rows 37-40:

Work double crochets and make 9^th and 10^th crochets together in the 40^th row;

Rows 41-45:

Follow the scheme. Make every 7^th and 8^th crochets together in the 41^st and 45^th rows;

Rows 46-49:

Work double crochets and make every 8^th and 9^th crochets together in the 46^th and 49^th rows;

Rows 50-54:

Follow the scheme and make every 8^th and 9^th crochets together in the 50^th and 54^th rows;

Rows 55-58:

Work double crochets and make every 8^th and 9^th rows together in the 55^th row;

Rows 59-63:

Follow the scheme and make every 8^th and 9^th crochets together in the 63^rd row;

Rows 64-80:

Work double crochets straight.

Finishing Touches:

Make 62 crochets along the sleeve armhole and work 9 rows of double crochets. Cut the yarn. Make the placket of the 2^nd sleeve in the same way.
