You’ll Need

350g of dark-red yarn (40% viscose, 30% cotton, 20% linen, 10% polyamide; 125m/50g);

Crochet hook 4.5.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

Main Pattern A

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 36 + 19. Work according to scheme 1. Start with stitches before the pattern repeat, complete the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat.

Make rows 1-15 x once, then repeat rows 2-15.

Main Pattern B

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 36 + 19. Follow the same process as Main Pattern A, but according to scheme 2. Start with stitches before the pattern repeat, complete the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat. Make rows 1-17 x once, then repeat rows 4-17.

Stitches Control

19.5 stitches x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 91 chain stitches + 6 chain stitches increase and work with main pattern A. At 33 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, add 26 chain stitches for each sleeve and include these stitches in the pattern. At 52 cm = 47 rows from the set-up row, finish after making 0.5 cm = 1 row of single crochets.

Front

Make 91 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with main pattern B. Construct sleeves in the same manner as for the back. At 41 cm = 37 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 9 cm open for the neck-hole and finish each side separately. For smooth rounding, leave 5.5 cm open in the next 10th row from inwards. At 52 cm = 47 rows from the set-up row, finish the remaining stitches after making 0.5 cm = 1 row of single crochets.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams.

Fasten the neck-hole using the following method: 3 chain stitches instead of the 1st double crochet, * skip 0.5 cm from the edge with the help of 1 chain stitch, then 1 double crochet*; repeat from * to *, ending with 1 chain stitch and 1 slip stitch in the upper chain stitch increase.

Construct side and sleeve seams.

Fasten the bottom edge of the pullover and the sleeve edges with 1 circular row of border as follows: 1 chain stitch increase instead of the 1st single crochet, * 8 chain stitches, starting from the 4th chain stitch from the crochet hook, fasten the next chain stitches by making 1 single crochet, 2 front post double crochets, 1 double crochet, 1 treble crochet, then skip 1.5 cm from the edge, and 2 single crochets*; repeat from * to *, finishing with 1 slip stitch in the chain stitch increase.
